The real Superman

Have you ever been so very grateful for someone that you don't know how to best express yourself? Well that is how I feel about my wonderful husband. I don't know a busier person then he is and when Jenny asked him to build a sandbox for her he had to do a lot of juggling to make it happen, which he did. He and Grandpa were out in the rain and cold for the better part of the day putting together a beautiful box which Jenny and I and a couple of her fabulous neighbors (pictured above) filled with sand yesterday. The kids are ecstatic and can be found there when they have any free time.
Thank you so much Honey! You are my hero!

Another Graduation

We (my parents and I) went down to St George for a very quick overnight trip to attend Lindsay's Graduation from High School. We had a great time in that very quick 24 hours. We were so very proud of Lindsay and had a great time celebrating with her and her family. They were very gracious hosts and took everyone to Olive Garden after the graduation ceremony. Lindsay then went to Senior night at the High School where the parents of the graduates put on a not-to-be-believed Indiana Jones all night extravaganza. It was so incredible and Lindsay had a great time coming in at about 5 am. We are so grateful for the wonderful family we have been blessed with. Kudos to you Lindsay!

The Graduate

Our little Analeigha graduated from Pre-school. I can't believe she will be going to Kindergarten in the fall. I know that I am not getting older but my grandkids are! We were able to watch a wonderful little program and Ana made us all so proud. The kids wore adorable graduation caps with a tassle that is not only fashionable but edible. It was made out of fruit loops. Anyway, she looked adorable and that little smile just steals the very heart from my body.

My Disneyland

Well we did it again, another trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. I don't know what it is about this place but all cares and concerns are forgotten while I am inside those Magical Gates. This trip was especially fun as we went with Debbie and Stan. Mom and Dad were going to come and Glen and Tracie, but last minute things kept them away. We stayed at the Peacock which is a short little shuttle ride to the park and spent two days doing anything we wanted. We got drenched on Splash Mountain (appropriately named) and went on Soaring over California, three times (it is awesome if you have never experienced it). We were able to have reserved seating for the Fantasmic show and fireworks Saturday night and were made honorary citizens of Disneyland (it is the place of a million dreams). This was a wonderful trip and was made possible by our dear husbands who gave us this trip for Valentines day (thanks honey)! What a Blast!

Faisals 2nd Birthday

Well he made it to two and boy what a party we had. It started out with a darling fire engine cake made by his very talented mother and ended with him turning the hose on and squirting his dad and anyone else that tried to take it out of his hand. He received a fun little battery operated jeep and clothes and a dump truck. He was so fun to watch while opening his presents. He would squeal with delight and then throw the gift over his shoulder and head for the next one. What a hoot. We are so grateful to have our little Faisal be part of our family, he keeps it very interesting and is just doggone cute as the pictures can attest.

Another day in Paradise

It has been a little while since I last posted something so I wanted to update. There is not much to say except that we are finally getting a sprinkler system put in the back yard. At this point it is a mess with trenches everywhere. The trencher came and not only cut our phone line and our cable line, he also trenched 4 feet over on Debbies property and cut her cable line. It was quite exciting overall. Everything is back to working order and they are working on bringing Debbie's lawn back instead of trench lines. I know it will be great to have this done eventually and we won't have to worry about getting someone to water when we are gone, which seems to be all the time. Here are some pictures of the yard in better times.
